Jeff Hardy makes a comeback to AEW

Jeff Hardy finally makes a return to AEW after his DUI arrest last year. Jeff Hardy also had an eye surgery recently and everyone was expecting Jeff Hardy to return in 4-6 weeks. Jeff surprised everyone by making a comeback at AEW Dynamite tonight.

Matt Hardy said earlier this week that he and Isiah Kassidy would be fighting for the AEW World Tag Team Titles together on Kassidy’s YouTube vlog. Matt Hardy also mentioned that his brother, Jeff Hardy, who recently underwent eye surgery and had been out of the ring for months recovering and he might return in “six to eight weeks.”

Matt was teasing the return of his brother Jeff Hardy by saying that he would be back in 6 to 8 weeks, but to everyone’s surprise, Jeff is back much earlier than expected.

Looks like Jeff Hardy is finally cleared to compete at AEW, or else Tony Khan wouldn’t have allowed him to make a comeback. It will be interesting to see who Jeff Hardy will face for the first time after his return. Most probably, he will team up with his brother Matt to go for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

Crowd at AEW Dynamite was so elated by the return of Jeff Hardy, as soon as his music started, Jeff Hardy entered the ring carrying a chair. The moment Jeff Hardy dropped a Swanton Bomb on Lee Moriarty, the crowd exploded in jubilation. To once again share the ring with his brother, Matt Hardy was ecstatic.

AEW’s popularity will certainly grow after Jeff Hardy’s return to AEW. Given CM Punk’s return is around the corner as well, it will be interesting to see what heights AEW can reach in terms of viewership. Can they compete with WWE?
